If you like a traditional country pub, with a warm welcome, real ale and good food, the West Acre Stag has it all. Brilliant, difficult to beat!

ShockedBiggrin Worth putting entries on Trip Advisor as well, if you want new people turning up.
Kev and Martin don;t want to do this because they say it will spoil the place!

What a great place! Friendly locals, interesting beers, knowledgeable and friendly barmaid. A proper pub, none of that hifalutin' gastro-dining nonsense. Anywhere where you can get soup and a baguette on a sunday gets my vote.

A friendly, welcoming pub - even the locals talk to you! Really glad they don't know the meaning of 'Gastro' and keep it traditional. Thanks! Best pub around here.

Best small pub within 25 miles of Swaffham.
Friday night 'fish & chips' is a sensation. Must do! Great guest beers every time too.

Just back from a break in Shropshire. You are the best pub between the Sun in Clun and the North Sea! Please don't change a thing.

Close enough to walk, we have been to the Stag several times and echo all the other good comments. Smoked rabbit casserole with chips leaves a lingering memory. Nice beer always something new.
